After creating the initial designs for my production logo in power point to get quick designs, I knew that I would have to take them over onto Photoshop and make it look professional. I ended up doing a mistake and flattened my images which then meant that they were hard to work with in Photoshop. I therefore decided to create a logo from scratch based on my three previous designs. I also decided that Summit entertainment is the type of logo that I want to re-create since it is really easy and looks effective and professional.
- I beganwith a black A6 size page on Photoshop.
- I copied a simple picture of the mountains from clipart.
- I inverted the image so that the mountains could be white and removed the image background.
- I used the gradient tool to give the logo more depth and realism.
- I added text (Castellar) with a line between the spacing of the words.
- Finally, I inserted a picture of a colored cloud, re-sized them and rotated them to fit the design, decrease the opacity and positioned them in the right places.
