Film regulations - target audience

Carrying out general research towards my product, I came to the stage of analysing and exploring the regulations and target audience. I used the BBFC website to conduct this research through studying the links between the age classifications and content that I will use in my trailer. Based on this research I came to a decision that my film will be rated 12A. Aside from the rating choice, I have also decided that the target audience for my film will be students between the age of 11 to 19, since the story mostly relates to their situation, interests, friendship groups and age group. Below are some of the main points that I have put together using the BBFC guidelines in relation to my choice of age regulation.
