From film magazines published as far back as 1928 (Film weekly), to magazines such as empire or total film which are read today. Some conventions of the magazines have changed over the years, clearly seeing the improvement in editing software, photography and content. However other aspects of the relevant conventions have stayed the same. With that being said, I took some of these front cover magazines and analysed them in a greater detail.
